Been listening to a lot of soundtracks lately - Daft Punk’s Tron:Legacy, The Chemical Brother’s Hanna, Harlan County USA, and Philip Glass’s The Hours. While listening to The Hours, it struck me that a really interesting pairing might be Damien and Philip Glass. Glass may be a little repetitive at times for Jurado’s style, but wouldn’t it be interesting to hear what some of Damien’s more subtle lyrics would sound like with a Philip Glass piano/strings track behind them?
